The 2004 Aztec Challenge Trophy Golf Tournament for RWE Innogy’s Didcot Power Station Golfing Society was held at Saltford Golf Club near Bath on 19th July.

Last year’s winner Fred Allworth had a complete role reversal. Having received the trophy from Pete Seavill for winning at Chipping Norton Golf Club in 2003, this year, Fred presented the trophy to Aztec’s Managing Director Pete Seavill for winning at Saltford.

The scores were very close over the 36 hole event, with the winning score being decided by count back over the back nine holes of the afternoon round.

Winners:

36 Holes:

1st Pete Seavill, 37 + 37 = 74 Points (back nine PM)
2nd Peter Worrallo, 37 + 37 = 74 Points
3rd Keith Christian, 38 + 30 = 68 Points

18 Holes AM:

1st Nic Chapman
2nd David Corbett

18 Holes PM:

1st Fred Allsworth
2nd Malcolm Tillbrook
