Aztec Technical Services is approved by the Engineering Construction Industry Training (ECITB) to deliver the Client Contractor National Safety Group (CCNSG) nationally accredited Safety Passport Scheme.
The Safety Passport Scheme was developed by major industrial groups with the aim of providing a standard for the general health and safety training of contractors working in the construction and related industries. It has been commended by the Health and Safety Executive.
Successful completion of the training programme and the associated assessment provides companies with significant benefits, including:
- reducing accident rates
- reducing incident related costs
- providing a route toward compliance with Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations and CDM regulations.
As a result many companies’ staff own a safety passport. Many also make the ownership of a safety passport compulsory for contractors carrying out work on their sites.
Safety passport training courses
Aztec Technical Services offers the following safety passport training courses:
- National course (2 days)
- Supervisor Course (1 day course covering health and safety implications for supervisory staff following successful completion of the National Course)
- Renewal Course (a one day refresher course to be completed at three yearly intervals).
