About Us

Aztec Technical Services has its roots in nuclear power engineering, initially in flask design. Major developments in the electricity supply industry, caused by privatisation led to us entering into the electricity supply industry market providing training and engineering services.

Aztec Technical Services understood the changes which would occur in the electricity supply industry training and services market place and endeavoured to recruit and establish associations with key staff from the industry. Our awareness of the business allowed us to establish ourselves as one of the leaders in this field, it is this same business awareness that enables us to add value to our customers’ businesses.

Currently our core business revolves around the supply of training and associated services to electricity generators and process industries. We provide technical training programmes to most of the main players in the electricity supply industry as well as leading companies in other industries.

Aztec Technical Service's head office is situated in Bristol, where a small core team conduct the business activities and ongoing support for our UK and overseas activities. Situated nationwide, is an associate network of professional engineer and technician trainers.

This highly trained and motivated group, are available to provide their specialist skills in a cost effective manner for our customers businesses at their own preferred venues.

Aztec Technical Services places great onus on matching the ideal “trainer” to satisfy your training need, an approach aimed at adding greater value to your business. We have produced ad-hoc programmes to suit various customers’ needs, complimented by a wide portfolio of off the shelf courses and programmes. Support materials are produced at the Bristol office which provides a full DTP service ensuring that all programmes have the appropriate level of visual aids, manuals etc.

Aztec Technical Services utilises the services of a number of associates to deliver its training programmes and provide services to customers, typically a CV for our associates would contain reference to one or a number of the following:

  • Qualifications: Elec. or Mech. Engineering Degree, Chemistry Degree HNC, HND, C & G; Health and Safety/ Environmental – NEBOSH, IOSH, EMAS
    Training – C&G 7307; NVQ D32, D33, D34; TDLB level 4;
  • Initial Training: Craft Apprenticeship/Engineering Traineeship/Graduate Trainee;
  • Previous Roles: Power Station Chemist; Operations, Production, Mechanical Electrical and C & I Engineers and Technicians; Senior Instructor/ Lecturer all disciplines, simulator instructor;
  • ICT: Highly computer literate.
